how do i get this picture of myself tumblr famous

i want this tattooed on my back

This is ridiculous and disgusting. We stand for and care about ALL life, born and unborn. When I say that I am “pro life” I mean that I believe that all life is important-old people, young people, and unborn people, gay people, straight people, people of all genders and sexual orientations. It does NOT mean “anti-woman” or “anti-sex”

Why does everyone think that pro-life people don’t care about people already born? I don’t understand it. Just because someone greatly cares about animal rights does not mean that they do not care about people. In that same sense, pro-lifers do INDEED care about the poor and needy just as they care about unborn babies. I am pro-life and I stand for ALL life. Babies, children, adults, the sick, the mentally ill, the physically handicapped, the elderly, people in comas, gay people, straight people, men, women, basically EVERYONE IS A PERSON WITH DIGNITY.

I’m pro-life too, and that is EXACTLY WHY I’m pro-life. EVERYONE MATTERS. I care about everyone. In fact I’m going to be a goddamn teacher and minister because I care about everyone and want to help others. I worked at VBS all last week where we raised money for, get this, A GROUP THAT BUILDS HOMES FOR PEOPLE. I’m an LGBT Christian who is called especially to minister to people who fall under that acronym and all its variations and show them that God loves them and help them with whatever they may need.
Look how anti-born person I am.
The only anti-anything I am is anti-cherry-picking who you consider to be alive. Take your biased misconceptions and shove them up your ass.

My parents have a car sticker in their rear window that says this

I have noticed that those who are for abortion have been born. - Ronald Reagan

And it is really that simple. If your mother decided she didn’t want you or thought you would be better off dead because you could be homeless you wouldn’t be here. A homeless mother can be a better mother because having children brought into the world changes a person’s life. If you really knew a person who was pro-life you’d realize that they are individuals involved in group or individual work in helping others.
The person who made this sign is angry and passing their own judgements on the actions of perhaps only one person. As a person who is pro-life I don’t judge those who do have an abortion because weather the woman is in grief at soon after the act or not, they will eventually have to come to terms that they stopped the one primal thing that women bring to the human race. Simply put, they stop a life, an infinite possibility and your choice makes that like a hole. So I don’t believe for a minute that any woman can live the rest of her life after having an abortion with some sort of guilt or haunt.
Women have children. That’s what they do. I know a woman who had an abortion because she found out that her child had a rare disorder that would leave the infant living in agony for nearly three months before it would inevitably die. She was sobbing when she shared that with others. You don’t forget that you had an abortion just like you don’t forget that you had a baby. You also don’t forget the people that you love when they pass away because they are a part of you. I believe that it is no different.
II personally went through a time where I had a boyfriend and I wasn’t taking my birth control regularly. When I finally started my period I was in agony. The pains were so piercingly painful that I was crying and they wouldn’t stop. I was in a car when this happened so I had to wait until I was at home to find out what was going on. Even on the toilet the pains pain came until finally a large glob of uterus tissue came out. I knew that this had to be what a miscarriage felt like and for a few years later I wondered if it was.
I eventually found out, from my gynecologist, that my boyfriend never actually got the job done and that I never could have gotten pregnant with my “covering” still intact. I still will never forget that. You just don’t forget. If you say you do… you’re lying to yourself.

hi dear - normally i wouldn’t bother responding to the extremely ignorant comments on this photo, but yours really jumped out at me for a few reasons:
1) you state “The person who made this sign is angry and passing their own judgements on the actions of perhaps only one person,” and yet this is clearly speculative and objectively false. my opinions come from experience, and as a clinic escort (something i’ve done continuously at different clinics for the last 4 years) i assure you i have met hundreds of individuals who identify as “pro-life” and are, in reality, bigoted, misogynistic assholes intent on controlling the lives of others.
2) you suggest “Women have children. That’s what they do.” this is hilariously wrong and out-dated thinking. some women DO have children, but ~*~amazingly enough~*~ lots of women DON’T have children, and can’t have children! and most importantly, it’s cruel, unrealistic, and offensive for you to suggest that one’s identity as a woman is in ANY WAY dependent on one’s ability to conceive.
3) while i’m sure you have known people who have had abortions that have impacted them emotionally, i guarantee you have also known people who have had abortions and felt extreme relief after. it’s not your place to judge people because you don’t know their circumstances, and abortion, like any medical procedure, effects everyone differently (physiologically and psychologically). that seems like a pretty simple concept to me but “pro-lifers” don’t seem to get that.
the rest of your comment is you talking about a personal experience in extreme detail which i genuinely don’t see as related to the issue *in any way* and for that reason i’m not even gonna address it, except to say that it seems like you were deeply affected by that experience you had, and i recommend therapy - it’s important to have someone to talk candidly with about how you feel.
